Access to new building GRANTED! - May 17 2018

The Ken and Blaire Mossman building is undergoing the finishing touches, but after many months of looking at the outside of the building, we were granted access to look at the innards.

Fozo lab racks up some wins at the Micro Awards Ceremony! - April 30 2018

Congrats to Bikash who was awarded the David C. White Travel Award. He is looking to attend the Wind River Meeting this summer. Thomas was awarded a Summer Research Award. John was awarded the Micro Research Excellence Award along with the Timothy L. Cokkinias Award. Congrats to them!

New Paper! - November 17 2017

Happy Halloween! - October 31 2017

The UTK Micro department held their annual Halloween dress-up contest. The theme this year was “TV Shows”, which could be a hefty task given the crazy budgets allotted to TV shows these days. We decided to go with Diners Drive-ins and Dives. I think we did an amazing job and we were recognized for second place recognition. The first place winners blew everyone out of the water. However, if you were to calculate the effort+time+money to placement ratio…I think we came out ahead.

Lab Cleanup - September 5 2017

It’s been a long time since we gave the lab a good purging. In anticipation of the move to Walters Life Science 2.0 aka the Mossman Building, we have begun to remove some of the non-essentials that we have collected over time.
